inconsistent food and room issues

inconsistent food broken fridge
the staff were lovely to us.
The food in the restaurant was not consistent. the prawn dish was completely different on thursday compared to tuesday. It was almost a dry dish instead of a saucy dish. the hotel room was okay but needs some tlc. The fridge did not keep temperature, so we had to bin everything after day 3.

The reception staff are great. The location proved fantastic.
The shelf near the mirror in the bathroom is somewhat large, causing accidental bumps when bending forward (happened a few times).

Fantastic Stay

friendly staff cute staff
The staff are friendly and cute. They cannot do enough for you I cannot wait to return. The room I had was really lovely I had a couple of issues however like there weren't any hangers and no soap in the bathroom.
I was charged £25 for a one hour late checkout. I asked if that would be ok earlier. I was told at reception It would have been free if I stayed an extra night, despite that not being mentioned when I enquired.

non working telephone insufficient water
The rooms were clean and well presented.
My room did not have a working telephone, I had to walk to reception for every request, a definite inconvenience. I found there was not enough bottled water provided in the room, especially given the tap water was labeled as unsuitable for drinking, a SERIOUS oversight. The dessert order was also forgotten after the evening meal.
