Wonderful Balcony Room Retreat

Ian, the host, provided a very warm welcome and great assistance. The balcony room was comfortable and warm with everything needed. I sent an additional request through the tablet and it was quickly provided. I enjoyed a lovely view of trees and a river.
The fridge in the room was not working.

the location is great. it is an easy walk to either place (bowness or elsewhere). self check-in worked well. the tablet in the room was also good for ordering breakfast.
the fridge in my room did not work. the shower was also disappointing because there was no shelf. it was very easy to drive past without noticing the guest house (i did drive past the first time).

The communal living room was lovely. two nice outside spaces also existed. the location was really lovely. complimentary access to a pool and spa facilities was provided. It was about 5 minutes drive away.
the room was too small. the bathroom was again way too small. it felt impersonal due to its proximity to the bed.
