serene and peaceful stay
cute stafflovely flower bedscharming building
the staff were cute, attentive and friendly. i found the flower beds in the grounds particularly lovely. the building itself is a gem of a place currently undergoing restoration, but this did not interfere with my relaxation.
i found the shower head to be small.

the room was spacious and clean, it had a comfortable bed. there were lovely views overlooking a courtyard, a field of sheep, and the sea. i really liked it.

The staff were very helpful. They provided excellent service. breakfast was great, it offered a wide selection. the evening dinner was excellent too, so i can recommend eating at the premises.

The hotel benefits from a nice location. the views of the solway are lovely. the location is quiet, that helped me to relax. i loved the location. But the views were amazing!

the location was scenic, offering some nice views.
I was really disappointed with my room. the walls seemed very thin, and i could hear a lot of noise. also, the breakfast was not good. The continental selection seemed questionable in quality.

the food was acceptable.
the shower head was too small to have a good shower i also noticed the breakfast quality declined each day the first one was okay but subsequent breakfasts were less satisfactory this was disappointing as breakfast is an important part of the hotel experience for me.

I found the staff quite helpful, especially Maisie and Barry at the front desk. They ensured all my needs were met and quickly resolved any issues. I left my tablet in the room, and Maisie arranged to have it posted back to me. I really appreciated that. The location was perfect for my needs. The hotel is easy to access.
I found the shower head a little too small. It impacted the overall shower experience.
