a decent stay near the station
warm welcome room size wide selection building refurbishment dark decor processed foods
the host greeted me warmly. the room size was good and it was very clean. i appreciate the snacks provided, a nice touch. breakfast was included and had a wide selection.
the building could use some updates. i thought the decor felt a bit dark. the bannister rail also felt sticky to my hand.

comfy bed breakfast options convenient location
The room included a very comfy bed and bedding. I slept soundly! Breakfast offered many choices, I saw eggs, porridge, and cooked meats. The location is very convenient to the train station and some pubs. It's just a short walk.
The bannister rail felt slightly sticky.

peeling wallpaper processed items
the room felt a little tired. i noticed some wear and tear, specifically some peeling wallpaper. the self-service breakfast was alright, but the selection leaned heavily towards processed items. i really wished there were more fresh options available though.

such a good stay!
relaxing stay self-service breakfast warm welcome
the room provided everything i needed for a relaxing stay and its proximity to the beach was a plus. the breakfast being self-service was so convenient, i could have it whenever i pleased! i was welcomed so warmly i felt right at home.
the ultra processed foods were too much, i prefer healthier options.

the hotel sits perfectly near the station, its steeped in local history. it was very easy to explore the lake district and cumbrian coast from this ideal spot. the hotel is near the beach.

The breakfast included many continental items. Cooked meats were available. The selection was GREAT!!! The bed was comfortable. I slept WELL here!!!
The place needs some refurbishment. The bannister rail felt a bit sticky.
