Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
Netherdene Country House Bed & Breakfast offers a convenient location for exploring the Lake District, with easy access to Penrith and Keswick via the A66. Guests often appreciate the freshly prepared, hot breakfast, sometimes mentioning the delightful view of the garden and its birdlife from the breakfast room. The powerful, hot shower is another recurring highlight after a day on the hills, and the Troutbeck Inn across the road provides a handy option for evening meals. While some guests have found certain rooms a bit small, others found the single room to be a reasonable size, and appreciate useful amenities like a kettle.

Satisfactory Visit

comfortable bed freshly cooked small room tiny bathroom
The breakfast offered a good selection. Everything arrived freshly cooked at the time I requested. The host was very friendly. The bed was comfortable.
The room was a bit small. I found the bathroom to be quite tiny too. It was difficult to move around in it. There were no spoons for stirring tea or coffee in the room. The tea and milk sachets were put in the same cup.
