a solid stay in a charming locale

excellent staff cosy feel sunday lunch
The staff in the pub were really on it. They were excellent. the room had a warm, cosy feel that i appreciated. the food was great. I enjoyed the sunday lunch.
there wasn't a tv in the room, fairly standard now, particularly considering the price

the bathroom and shower are really good. the wifi access is reliable, so i was able to keep up with work and social media. the bed in the room was really comfortable, a big plus.

the breakfast included artisan beers, and the food in the pub downstairs tasted delicious! the breakfast was lovely with excellent value for money and i thoroughly enjoyed it! it made my mornings something to look forward to.

helpful staff great location missing tv faulty plug
The staff were very helpful, and i loved how friendly they were. The location was also great. the evening meal menu had so many delicious choices, i couldn't decide what to order.
Our room didn't have a tv. This is something i usually expect. the sink plug wasn't working, it was a minor thing.

the room was very clean (i found this quite important). the bathroom and shower also met my expectations.
it was noisy. the music did not stop until late. there was no tv, usually standard for a hotel room, especially considering the price.

artisan beers helpful staff bathroom door toilet seat
the food downstairs at the pub was excellent i appreciated the artisan beers. the staff were friendly and helpful to all guests
the bathroom door in the room did not shut completely i also noticed the toilet seat was wobbly. there were only a couple of hangers provided in the room this was slightly inconvenient
