The staff were good. I found them to be genuinely kind. the food exceeded my expectations. my room was lovely. everything felt very pleasurable. i only noticed the shower head pressure could use a little improvement. everything else worked perfectly. the staff were friendly. the bed was soft, and the room was spacious.

the staff were very helpful. the location proved quite central. the accommodations were comfortable.
i noticed a green emergency light lit the room throughout the night. i could hear every word spoken in the bar below. it was not ideal.

a snug haven in the dales

amazing staffopen armshuge suitehearty food
the staff, it was like visiting old friends. i was a wet, muddy walker and they welcomed me with open arms to my room. the suite was huge, and the food from the bar was so hearty after a long day.
the emergency light in my room shined a bit too bright through the night, it was a minor distraction.

the location provides easy access to the dales way, it meant i could start my hike each day without any fuss. the pretty view of the church from my window added a lovely touch to my mornings.

i ate at the pub three times and each meal was spot on, the food was really great. breakfast proved very nice with a satisfying start to my day before my next walk. they have a decent draught beer.

my room was spacious and warm, it was just what i needed after hiking. the bathroom was nice and big, it helped me refresh after being outdoors all day. the bed was very comfy, i slept well each night.
