clean room fab food huge portions unenthusiastic staff poor signage unclear direction
the room was clean. food in the hotel is fab. portions were huge for the price we payed.
the staff greeted me without much pleasure. signage wasn't good. the staff did not show me where to go when i arrived.

spacious pod excellent choice good portion good breakfast
the pod was spacious. It was comfortable too. The dining choice was excellent. The dinner menu had good choices and portions, i dined there every night. breakfast tasted good.
the pillows in my room WEREN'T the best. there also WASN'T conditioner available. the staff knowledge of EVC charging was poor.

Comfortable stay close to Scafell Pike
convenient location attentive staff dog friendly
The location was excellent (very convenient for hiking Scafell Pike). The staff were attentive. I stayed for two nights. I found the hotel very dog friendly.
I noticed the pool table and cues needed some maintenance. This was a very minor issue.

slow service cracked sink
the service in the restaurant felt slow. i waited quite a while for my meal one evening. the bedroom was a bit worn, specifically the bathroom. the sink had a crack, and the shelf was missing (though the fixtures remained).
