"Amazing hotel/pub very friendly lady on reception and the complimentary cream tea on arrival very nice our room had a lovely view across the hills the room was large and the log beams in ceiling amazing bathroom choice of a vintage free standing bath or a shower very nice evening meal was delicious well cooked and presented good choice of wine the usual selection but all so a more expensive section something for everyone one excellent friendly service from the waitresses from the start of our meal to completion breakfast best I have had in a hotel again lovely waitress made sure we had all we needed for a good start to the day portions amazing quality produce did not need lunch after breakfast sorry to leave we would love to return and intend to as soon as possible just to enjoy the wonderful staff and the amazing food and the lovely room big thank you to all at Punchbowl we only stayed one night but they made it so special best hotel/pub in area"
