The room was very clean. I appreciated the variety at breakfast. The staff were polite and attentive, they served us well.
The room looked out to a rundown hotel. I found a need for repainting in the room. Toiletries were limited, they consisted of small jars with combined shampoo and conditioner.

sensational chefconvenient locationwarm welcome
they prioritized customer needs. the chef excelled in both breakfast and dinner services. i found the location convenient, close to local attractions, i could walk to bowness in about 20 minutes.
the room i stayed in seemed a bit dark, lacking natural light during the day.

the hotel provides private parking free of charge and includes access to an electric car charger, very useful. breakfast has extensive options with individual table service, this differs from buffet style common in many hotels. the hotel is decorated to a high standard throughout.

the luxury room was amazing. it had nice views. the king size bed featured a comfy mattress and pillows. dressing gowns and slippers were available. breakfast was in a bright room with plush chairs and booths. the breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice.. it included locally sourced food. everyone was friendly and helpful.
the bar closes on sundays and mondays. cocktails seemed pre-made instead of made to order. prosecco was also expensive.

the bar situation was... questionable. i wanted a nightcap after dinner. imagine my dismay when i found it CLOSED. on a saturday night! it smacked of prioritizing convenience over guest experience. and the limited tea selection in the room? highway robbery, i tell you. ONE measly teabag? that's just offensive.
