excellent stay

on-site parking central location perfect eggs
the location was convenient with on-site parking available. i found it a short walk to the town center. breakfast included perfectly cooked poached eggs, a great start to the day. fiona, the host, was very helpful.
i found the tea and coffee selection in the room a little limited.

Fantastic room, breakfast, and hosts

warm welcome clean room tasty breakfast
Fiona and Martin gave a warm welcome, I really appreciated that. The room was clean and quite comfortable. Fresh milk was already in the mini fridge when I arrived. Breakfast provided a tasty and quality full English breakfast, I enjoyed the fresh juice and yogurt.
The TV remote had a very slight delay in response.

scrambled eggs bacon fat
the room had a lot of electrical sockets right where they were needed.
the breakfast was a real letdown, sadly. the scrambled eggs tasted like rubber, and the bacon fat wasn't crispy AT ALL. cookery lessons are seriously needed!!!

The breakfast left something to be desired. The scrambled eggs tasted like rubber-overcooked and not fluffy AT ALL. the bacon was not crispy and the toast arrived soggy. A HUGE disappointment.
