a reasonable stay

the proprietors were cute. they created a relaxed atmosphere. the location overlooked a wooded backwater next to a body of water. the accommodation mixed original tradition with a decent modern bathroom.
i was doing a longer hike, and i arrived later than other guests. this meant i could not get a hot breakfast the next day if i wanted to leave earlier than 8:40. i was offered a baked potato for dinner, but it had minimal topping. it came in a styrofoam container, and i had to eat it perched on my lap (it felt a little undignified).

excellent location hot shower helpful hosts
the location was superb, directly beside the water, offering serenity. the hot shower and drying room were very useful after walks. the hosts were cute and helpful.
the breakfast had limited options.

the location was excellent for local walks. the hotel offers a drying room and thoughtful mats for muddy shoes. our room was a double with a view over the beck and also included a single bed, very useful.
the breakfast had limited items.

the owners are very attentive and recommended ideal places for us to eat nearby. they offer packed lunches if required and were happy to help us plan our day trips. the service was quick.

inflexible breakfast high price
The outdoor bar attached to the hotel was acceptable. It allowed me to sit right by the river.
the breakfast was not flexible regarding times. dinner was simple and the price was high. i found this combination disappointing.

the location was convenient for exploring the area.
I arrived late due to a long hike and breakfast time was not flexible. I was offered only a cold breakfast, disappointing, because i was hiking double the distance.
